Activity
Description
Two Truths and a Lie
This activity could be used in either a large or a small group setting. Ask each person to take a few minutes to think of two things that are true about themselves and one thing that is a lie. Go around the group and ask each person to share all three things, then have the group guess which one is a lie.
Golf Ball Toss
You will need a couple sleeves of golf balls for this activity. Have a group of 5-10 people stand in a circle. Have each person introduce themselves to the group. The leader should take a golf ball, say someone's name in the group and throw them the ball. After that person catches the ball he or she should say another person's name and throw to them. When the last person in the group has caught the ball, it should be thrown back to the leader who will throw the ball to the original person they chose. After the group has mastered throwing one ball, add in another and then another until there are multiple balls being thrown around the circle.
Autograph Sheet

Create a sheet of general characteristics and interesting facts that might apply to the people at the workshop. Leave some space for signatures to be written next to each interesting fact. Explain to the group that they will have 5 minutes to find as many signatures as possible from the other people in the room.

Click here to download an example of such a sheet.

Name Game
Have each person introduce themselves with a nickname that begins with the same letter as their first name (for example, "Super Sally", "Joking Joe", or "Happy Harold"). After a person introduces him or herself, the next person should say a name and the name of the person(s) before him/her. This will be tough for the last person who will need to say everyone's name!
