As a nine-year-old boy, John O’Leary was burned on 100% of his body and given less than one percent chance of surviving the first night. Despite the odds, he overcame those challenges to become an international motivational speaker who inspires audiences to rise above challenges, discover passion, and fulfill potential. John will speak at the 2010 PLC Leadership Conference.
Fields of Growth International
Fields of Growth International is a non-profit organization that operates in Southwest Uganda. This organization was founded with the belief that we were put on this earth to share our passion, joy and gifts with the less fortunate. The organization uses the game of lacrosse as a relational platform to foster friendships and deliver education, healthcare and various forms of human development. Fields of Growth is about more than playing lacrosse, but lacrosse is a key component in its mission, because the organization believes in the power of passion and enthusiasm. High School Football Rudy Awards
The High School Football Rudy Awards honor high school football players who exemplify the values of inspirational football legend Rudy Ruettiger. The winner will receive a $10,000 academic college scholarship to the college of their choice and will be named ‘The Most Inspirational High School Football Player in America’. The two runners-up will each receive $5,000 academic scholarships.

The videos discuss the fundamentals of coaching baseball and softball, as well as an overarching philosophy of coaching for kids enjoyment and development. This is a site developed by PLC friend, Jake Alba, former University of Southern California Baseball player. Jake owns Rhythm LA Productions and produced a video for PLC featuring Hall of Famer Frank Robinson.
